These walls, These restraints around my wrists, The life waiting for me down there. Out the window, in the air, in the water, Through her hair. Things could be so much better, If only get the picture in my head. The picture in the ashes in the fireplace. Four eyes under polaroid film, The times when I still smiled. The edges of your eyes were just a slit, when you couldn't keep them open to face the sun.
Tonight I pull at these ropes that hold me down, The ones that keep me from your sapphire eyes. I'm downh
